Skilled Artisan in Jesselton

Where can you find Kota Kinabalu’s finest artisan? Where else than The Jesselton Artisan Market (JAM), a marketplace showcasing our own skilled artisans and their creations based in Kota Kinabalu. Organised by Salt x Paper Stationery, it is held every 2 months, since 2017. Usually, it is held at The Walk, Riverson. But this month, it is held at the Sabah International Convention Centre.

What can you find at the artisan market?

You can just find anything creative, from decorative arts, jewellery, furniture, clothing, grub items to handmade creations. You can take a look at some of the things that you could find there.

Plants are not art you say? Well, it can be if you know how to decorate your space with it.

Why am I here?

I heard about it so many times but I can’t find the time to go. Since we have been coup up since the pandemic started, I guess this would be my own restart.

Oh, don’t get me wrong. I do get out whenever there is no lockdown, but only to do some business and a bit of cycling. But being in a crowded place? This is it. Probably a more crowded place to visit after this.

In the previous post, I mentioned my new business venture. Well, this is it. I’m into healthy food. My friend started rolling Fresh Salads On The Go in early November, after months of R&D and got a good response from the general public, especially to those who want a healthy diet.

What’s in it?

The main ingredient is the fresh coral lettuce, grown organically using a hydroponic system. So what you are getting is a freshly picked salad. Other than that, we also throw in some cherry tomatoes, corn, cucumber and chicken. If you have an allergy to nuts, you need to inform beforehand so we could remove them for you.

How much is it?

We’re selling it at RM12 per bottle, and you have a choice of Olive Oil Vinaigrette and Lemon Mayonaise for the salad dressing. You could pick up your salads at Lido Avenue. If you want your salad to be delivered to you, we’re charging RM1 per bottle. Cheap enough, considering most will be charging between RM2-RM5.

You can click here to start your order. It’s that simple. Pre-order open every day. If we receive your order today before 5 pm, you can get your order the next day. Past 5 pm, your order will be processed for the day after tomorrow. So, what are your waiting for?

Currently we are only receiving order for Kota Kinabalu, Penampang and Putatan district.
