The Day I Use Only Bahasa Melayu!

Last week, seeing a blogger who used Bahasa Melayu on their Twitter for a day, inspired me to try to use Bahasa Melayu for a day. That would mean I must use Malay, and only Malay to post any status on my Facebook and Twitter. Maka pada hari tersebut saya bercicip dan mengulas dalam Bahasa Melayu. Yes, bercicip is tweeting in Malay, I think. OK some I made it up myself, based on suitability.

Because I did it on Sunday and it seems that everyone is quiet on that day, I tried it the next day.

And I commented on a post by my ex-colleague in Malay.

Later half an hour before midnight, when I tried Japanese food which was introduced by Nattelim (I will blog about this later), we exchanged comments in Malay till midnight when we stop using Malay. I did say I’m going to do it till midnight on my Twitter.

On the third day, I was thinking about doing this using Classic Malay. But when I read a friend’s comment in full Classic Malay I scrap the idea altogether.

It’s a good thing that what I did inspire another friend of mine to post in Malay hahaha.

In all, I had so much fun. For your info, I’m the English to Malay translator for writing an engineering technical letter or report to Government Department for my office.
