“never take it for granted”

I watched a video clip in Rina’s blog the other day and it got me thinking. What would you do if you found out that you’re suffering from a terminal disease? In that video clip, this girl; I’ll named her Onon, and this guy; I’ll name him Apai, was once a couple. But Onon broke up with Apai and went out with Apai’s friend; I’ll name him Fitri. Onon gave Fitri a ring and Apai saw it in front of his eyes. Because of this Apai and Fitri got into a fight over Onon. But the truth is, Onon is sick and going to die. She pretends to be in love with Fitri so that Apai wouldn’t suffer when she passes away. At the end of the clip, Fitri gave the ring to Apai and said “I’m sorry I lied to you. She really loved you.”. This is after she had passed away. Sad isn’t it?

I don’t know with the rest of you but I personally would not leave my other half. It’s not my decision to make. I would have to tell the truth. I’ll accept what ever decision made after that. That’s what happens between late Erlinna & I years back soon after she was diagnose with cancer. When you think about it, knowing that your partner going to die is much bearable than not knowing at all. A friend of mine lost her boyfriend in an accident. Earlier on her boyfriend had ask her to go out; even asked permission from her dad, and he’ll be picking her up later that evening. That evening he didn’t show up and her dad was teasing her that he has ditched her. Because she was so mad about it, she didn’t pick up her phone that entire night. Little does she know that everyone was trying to tell her about that tragic news. She found out about it the next day after she called her friend. She suffers a breakdown after that incident.

The difference between both situations, I was prepared for the worst and my friend was not. So whenever you faced with the same situation that I faced, let the other decide what they want to do, and let them cherish every moment with you. Please also cherish those who are close to you, you never know how or when they going to leave you forever.

Have a look at this clip, has a nice meaning to it (not to mention nice tune too). It’s from one of the anime I’m currently following, Naruto Shippuuden.
